Where should donations be dropped off?
Small donations (one grocery bag or less) may be dropped off at the front desk of any Brookline Library location during regular Library hours. Large donations may be left at the loading dock at the rear of the Brookline Village Library at any time. The driveway can be found on School Street.
Tax receipts are available at all Library desks during regular Library hours.

Where does your donation go?
Many books are sold in the Friends Book Sale. Other books are picked up by Bay State Books, whose goal is to keep books out of landfills. They supply books for a prison book program and other literacy projects. Unusable books are recycled.
