When I see myself (A feminine discussion in Chinese)

On the second day of International Women’s Day, let’s come together to share our experiences and feelings as women. This event will consist of three parts. The first part is a lecture session where we will, from the perspectives of biomedicine, political science, and economics—three crucial yet often overlooked angles—to understand the situation of women. In the second part, our conversation will transition into our everyday life. Here, we look forward to hearing each participant’s own voice telling her story, whether it be proud, sad, angry, confused, shameful, or happy. We are eager to hear from you. In the third part, we invite all participants to collaboratively create a piece of handicraft. We will provide materials such as paper, colored pens, clay, etc., encouraging everyone to use the available materials to express their feelings about the female identity. Throughout the process, participants can showcase and share their creative ideas. In the end, all the works will be assembled on a board to become a collective piece of artwork.
