Celebrate the International Day of Light at the Putterham Library! Each year on May 16, people around the world celebrate the many ways that light and related technologies have revolutionized society. Local high school student Sarya Refai will demonstrate hands-on science experiments focused on light and optics. Activities will include augmented reality, stained polarized glass, a laser maze, fiber optics, and more!

This program is best-suited for children ages 8 and up. No registration required.

This event is generously sponsored by the Brookline Library Foundation.
