50 Years of Resident Artists at Puppet Showplace Theater

Puppet Showplace Theater is New England’s only dedicated puppet theater.
Each year, we present over 300 performances by professional puppet companies to audiences of all ages at our intimate Brookline Village theater.
For the last 50 years, Puppet Showplace Theater has been committed to supporting new family-oriented puppet shows and innovative puppet building by our Resident Artists!
Our first Artist-in-Residence Paul Vincent Davis created over a dozen puppet shows during his tenure, Brad Shur experimented with the interplay between puppetry and technology, and our current Resident Artist Sarah Nolen regularly tours her original works all over New England. Puppet Showplace’s Resident Artists have made an undeniable contribution to the world of puppetry.
